On 7 November, SBS will organise its first SME Forum on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Textile Care standardisation in collaboration with the German Textile Care Association (DTV) and the European association of SMEs that manufacture safety products (SME Safety).

The Forum will debate the coordination of standardisation activities at CEN,best replica watches ISO and EU level so to identify standardisation needs of small and medium-sized enterprises in the domain of PPE and Textile Care. The European Commission will intervene to present the main impacts related to the entering into force of the new PPE Regulation (EU) 425/2017 and to present their Healthy Workplaces Campaign on “Managing Dangerous Substances”.

The event will be attended by SMEs and their representative associations at national and European level, European standardisation organisations as well as notified bodies. It will constitute a major opportunity to put forward experiences and thoughts on the future of this regulation and its harmonised technical specifications. All views expressed will help consolidate the SBS position which will steer future developments and changes.
